Sinclair Health Clinic Announces McClure’s Move to Northwestern Community Services Board as CEO

Sinclair Health Clinic acknowledges the achievements of its Executive Director, Katrina McClure, MPH. She will be departing the organization effective July 1, 2023, to assume the role of CEO at Northwestern Community Services Board after a rigorous selection process.

Sinclair Health Clinic’s Board of Directors has already begun the process of identifying the next Executive Director to build on McClure’s accomplishments and to continue providing high-quality health care to the community.

Katrina McClure joined Sinclair Health Clinic in July 2019. During her nearly four-year tenure, she led the organization through unprecedented new patient growth, expanded Clinic services, completed a long-planned pharmacy renovation, and successfully managed the COVID-19 health pandemic. This growth has reinforced the Clinic’s reputation as an essential resource for the community.

Robbie Marchant, Chair of Sinclair Health Clinic’s board of directors, shared her thoughts on Katrina’s impact and leadership: “Katrina’s time at the Clinic has been truly miraculous. Under her leadership, we navigated the financial uncertainties of the COVID-19 crisis while ensuring our patients received life-saving care. She developed initiatives that brought supplies, services, care and hope directly into local neighborhoods. Her tenure brought about a period of stability, professionalism, and growth that will be difficult to replicate, leaving us in a stronger position as we begin our executive search. We are pleased that Katrina will be with us during this transition period, and we wish her all the best in her new role at CSB.”

In reflecting on her time at Sinclair Health Clinic, McClure said, “I am grateful for my time at Sinclair Health Clinic and for the privilege of being part of an extraordinary and caring team. I will continue supporting Sinclair Health as a donor, and I hope whoever is reading this sentence right now joins me. I love Sinclair Health Clinic, and its mission quite literally saves peoples’ lives. I am confident that the organization will continue to thrive, and I am excited for the next chapter in my career. “

Sandra Dunkle, the chair of the board of directors of Northwestern Community Services Board, shared the CSB’s enthusiasm: “We are extremely pleased that Katrina McClure has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer at Northwest Community Services Board. With her exceptional leadership abilities and extensive expertise, we have no doubt that she will drive our organization towards greater success.” For 50 years, Northwestern Community Services Board has provided mental health, developmental disability, and substance use disorder services to children and adults living in the City of Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren.
