We are pleased to introduce you to Dr. Emily Layhew,
our new Pharmacist in Charge at Sinclair Health Clinic.
Emily Layhew graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Health Professions and Aquatic Therapy from West Virginia University. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration degrees graduating in 2018 also from West Virginia University.
Prior to taking her position with the Sinclair Health Clinic, Emily spent the last 6 years with Walmart Pharmacy. She worked as a pharmacy intern and staff pharmacist for the Martinsburg, WV location and most recently served as the pharmacy manager in Winchester.
Emily currently resides in Martinsburg, WV with her husband. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and being outdoors.
We will miss Maureen O’Sullivan, who so capably and compassionately ran our pharmacy for many years and are grateful for her help navigating the pharmacy’s leadership transition.
