Behavioral Health Services
The function of the behavioral health department at the Sinclair Health Clinic is to help people improve their ability to cope through life circumstances. The behavioral health nurse practitioner works to assess, diagnose and prescribe medications to help those with a behavioral health diagnosis. The clinic counselor helps to assess, diagnose and therapeutically treat the same. The clinic aims to help those with a variety of life circumstances grief, loss, change of life situations, returning to the community; as well as those needing treatment for mental health diagnoses such as depression, and anxiety. The staff in the behavioral health department also works to refer patients to facilities and practices that handle more complex behavioral health diagnoses. We strive to assist patients to improve their quality of life and offer support during life’s trying times.
