Birth Control

Birth control is how you prevent pregnancy. There are a lot of options, and we’re here to help you figure it out. Pills, multiple types of IUDs, the Ring, Nexplanon, barrier methods- we can help you make the choice that’s right for you. Note: Virginia Law does not require parental consent for minors seeking reproductive health care, including contraceptives.

05

Sexual Health

We offer testing and treatment for STDs/ STIs. STDs often have no symptoms, so getting tested is a smart thing to do if you have had sexual contact with another person.  STDs can have symptoms, too, including sores, bumps or itchiness in or around your genitals, thighs or butt cheeks; weird discharge; burning sensation when you pee or having to pee a lot; or having flu-like symptoms. While you are in, we can see if you have something else, too, like a UTI or yeast infection. In Virginia, minors do not need parental consent to seek care for STDs.

06

Prenatal Care

We can help you have a healthy pregnancy, for both mama and baby. We offer full-term prenatal care for both our uninsured moms and those with Medicaid. We have a great relationship with Winchester Medical Center’s OB Hospitalists who would manage your delivery and have all your records. We support our moms every way we can, including partnering with Healthy Families Northern Shenandoah Valley and Valley Health. Check out our resources page.
