Summer Volunteers!
Here’s a picture of four of our summer volunteers doing stellar work in our community engagement offices, from left to right: Amanda Henson, Kiana Morris, Fallon Spittel, and Alison Spaziani.
They are each completing summer internships for their ongoing college studies to become future health care professionals. And, based on their passion and skills, the future looks very bright, indeed.
Summer has brought a wave of talented volunteers to the Clinic. Our 22 marvelous summer volunteers are doing a little bit of everything, including both licensed and unlicensed work: direct patient care in the Clinic, enrollment, and resource case management in the community engagement offices, and numerous tasks in our pharmacy.
Our summer volunteer service stats are impressive:
414.55 hours of total volunteer service since May 1, 2021,
worth an estimated value of $11,900!
We are so grateful for the work of each of our volunteers. They make us better in every way!
