Medical Professionals

As a physician, advanced practice clinician, or other licensed health professional, you will put your clinical skills to the test. You will care for complex patients, restoring health to those who have gone years without any medical care.  We might be a charitable clinic, but our care is top notch. You can be of our team of providers and make a difference.

All volunteers must be licensed in the state of Virginia and must not be suspended from or ineligible to participate in Medicaid, Medicare or other programs.  We cover our providers with malpractice insurance that includes tail coverage.

Community Health Volunteers

Community Health Volunteers help enroll new patients in the clinic, help patients enroll in Medicaid, and provide an overview of the services offered by Sinclair Health Clinic. Due to the intensive training, this position is best suited for those looking to volunteer regularly for a minimum of six months. If you are computer literate and have great customer service skills, this could be a great fit! Spanish fluency is extremely helpful but not required.

Administrative Support

It takes a lot of non-clinical support to keep the clinic running smoothly. We can use help answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, reminding patients of their upcoming appointments, and other tasks that are critical for good patient care. Many of these positions require a lot of training and are a good option for those who can volunteer regularly.

Many of our patients only speak Spanish, and we are always on the lookout for bilingual volunteers.

One-Time or As-Needed Volunteers

Interested in short-term projects or helping with one-time events?  We would love to add you to our volunteer pool. We do not have a lot of projects that fit this category, but when we do, the help is much appreciated!
